1. My reaction when Bruno found Samuel was shocked because Bruno has no idea that the little boy is in a concentration camp and how bad he is being treated. 2. The thing that surprised me the most in chapter ten was when Bruno noticed Samuel behind the fence. That surprised me the most because the boy looked so hopeless and sad but he couldn't do nothing about it.
1)I was shocked and surprised when Bruno found Shmuel becaue Bruno father was a Nazi and Shmuel father was a Jew so they did not know that they were each others Enemy and could not befriend each other.

2. I was surprised the most about chapter 10 when Bruno walks slong the fence and finds Shmuel. Then he sees that he has the same pajamas as the people that are held behind the fence. And, the same that his servants had on.

What surprised you the most in Chapter 10? Why? I was surpise that Bruno and Shmuel was born on the same day (April 13, 1934). I was total surpise to learn that there were children the same age as Bruno (9 year old) in this concentration camp.

He would have someone to talk to. I was also nervous because by talking to Shmuel Bruno would found out what's really going on behind the fence. 2) The most suprising thing in Chapter 10 was that Bruno and Shmuel were the exact same age and had the same birthday but were the complete opposite.

My reactions towards Bruno Finding Shmuel at the fence was very surprising because he was very small just as Bruno, and the fact that shmuel was able to find time to be at the fence other than working. 2. what was surprising to me was the fact that Shmuel was very much smaller than Bruno and the fact that bruno waled along the fence for mor than an hour to find a boy, then when he told shmuel that he never heard heard a boy with his name before.

1. well the cover of my book gave it away (foreshadowing) but I was finally releived that Bruno could have some of his questions answerd. 2. To be honest the title suprised me the most because I didnt expect Bruno to meet the boy so soon in the book.
