I would ask him why does he keep his mastache so short. I would ask how did he end up with such a beautiful wife (as explained in the book)? of course I would not ask him these questions to his face or he might just try to kill me because of my color. 2. To be honest I probly would have told Gretel the truth just to make her feel jelous that I found a friend and she didnt. But if he Shamuel told me not to tell anyone then of course I would keep it a secret.

She could either tell Mother and Father, she could want to go and meet Schmuel herself, she could stop me from going to see Schmuel, and so many other things. To save myself the trouble I would just keep it from her and continue sneaking out to see him. I wouldn't want to risk it especially since I'm happy now that I finally have a friend in Out-With.
