1. I was confused in chapter 11 when they were talking about the Fury coming over to their house when I had no idea who the Fury was.
ReplyDelete2. An example of when I saw the world from a more innocent perspective was when I thought my dad was mean when he pulled people over, and I thought it was for no reason. I saw differently when he told me that they were doing bad things that could possibly hurt other people.

ReplyDelete2. When I was young I thought nothing people dod was wrong Basically like it's a free world.Things that made me believe that was because I was the youngest out of three and when I did things I didn't really get punished.

2. When I was young I thought that everyone was harmless, but as I grew I learned that people can be mean,nasty,rude, and cruel.What helped me see this was when i was in 3rd grade i wanted to be friends with this girl so I said hi and she just rolled her eyes like I did something to her.

ReplyDeleteChapter 11 was mainly about the Fuhrer's visit to Bruno's old house in Berlin. In the chapter it talks about how Bruno's dad got promoted to Commandment. It also talks about Hitlers wife Eve Braun. Bruno only speaks to Hitler when he enters there home but automatically Hitler has an bad impression unlike his lovely wife who is bossed around by Hitler.Bruno thinks that Hitler is a mean and rude man now.

1. I was confused when Bruno's father said that The Fury was coming to their house and I was wondering why The Fury would come to their house but then I read on and found out why.

1) I was confused why the "Fury" was coming over. I had know idea who the "Fury" was.

2. When I was young my parents told me that when people passed away that they were sleeping, but soon I realized that when that person in the casket and didn't wake up I knew something was wrong.

ReplyDelete2) When I was younger I couldn't do some things my older cousins did like ride the dirt bikes, walk across the street by myself. go into stores by myself, ect. When I got older I saw it was because of maturity level and a level of responsibility. The older you get the more mature and responsible you are.

When I was younger I thought that ever kid that I came in contact with was going to be my friend but I found out that some kids are mean and do not want to play with you.
I also thought that in life when you ask for things you get it! but in life you don't always get what you want, parents work hard to make sure you have what you need.

When I was young I thought that everyone that was nice to me was my friend but later in life I realized something that someone could be nice to your face but talk about you behind your back.

When i was little girl I thought everyone was going to like me and be nice to me like my family. When i was in the 1st grade this boy would chase me with dead bugs and he also would steal my pencil sharpener out of my desk andmess with me.

ReplyDelete1. At first when I started reading chapter 11 i was confused on who the Fury is but now I know that the Fury is Adolf Hitler.
2. I used to think that mermaids were real because of this show i watch but now I know that mermaids don't exist becasue, it was just a tv show using props and stuff and that type of stuff is fantasy.

1. I was confused when the Fury kept shouting Eva's name. Eva was just trying to get to know Bruno and Gretel unlike he did. The Fury could've waiting patiently for her to finish but he just kept yelling at her until she finally came.
ReplyDelete2. When I was younger, I used to think that everywhere and everybody was friendly. I didn't know about any wars in the world, quarrels, disagreements, violence, or anything of that nature. It didn't occur to me that bad things were happening until the 9/11 terror attacks and also eye-witness accounts of people being tortured for no reason. Those events and many others really opened my eyes to the bad things happening in the world.

An example of that was when i switched from day care to school, i thought everyone was my family and they were friendly. Well when i got their some people were mean and picked on others about how they dressed and some picked on me about my hair and my nose.
