Chapter 2 was basically about Bruno's big move. At first he talked about how the new place was exactly the opposite of his old home in Berlin. He also talked about how much he was going to miss his friends Martin, Karl, and Daniel. His mother pointed out the off-limits area to Bruno and Gretel which was their parents room, their parents bathroom, and their fathers office. Even though he was in denial when he moved to the new place he now thinks he will only be there for the "Forseeable Future" (3 weeks).
